About Me

My name is Anna Klein, and I am a professional interpreter, accredited to work for the European Union institutions. I can interpret for you in the following languages: Czech, English, German, and Italian.

I studied interpreting at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. I expanded my knowledge by completing the EMCI module (European Masters in Conference Interpreting) – a specialised training programme focused on conference interpreting for international institutions. I further broadened my horizons, having studied in the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, and Italy.

My working experience includes interpreting for embassies and ministries, for public and private media, during international sports events, and business gala evenings. I provide interpreting services in the fields of business, technology, and culture. I have extensive experience interpreting in the construction industry and for PPP projects.

I had the honour to interpret for the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Professor Irene Tracey, for the Patriarch of Venice, Mons. Francesco Moraglia, and for the Czech audience during the conclave and inauguration ceremony of the new Pope, Leo XIV.

Interpreting

I provide interpreting for Czech, English, German, and Italian – simultaneous and consecutive, on-site and online. I will ensure that your multilingual event runs smoothly.

Language Tutoring

I have many years of tutoring experience. I teach English, German, and Italian courses. The lessons (group or individual) can be online or in-person upon agreement.

Translations

I provide general and technical translations. You can contact me if you wish to have your Czech, English, German or Italian document translated.
