About Me

My name is Anna Klein, and I am a professional interpreter. I can interpret for you in the following languages: Czech, English, German, and Italian. I studied interpreting at Charles University in Prague, Czech Republic. I further expanded my knowledge by completing the EMCI module (European Masters in Conference Interpreting) – a specialised training programme focused on conference interpreting for international institutions. Furthermore, I broadened my horizons, having studied in the United Kingdom, Austria, Germany, and Italy.

My working experience includes completing an interpreting traineeship at the European Commission in Brussels, interpreting for Czech Radio, at a German language film festival, during international sports events, and business gala evenings. I had the honour to interpret for the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Oxford, Professor Irene Tracey, during her official visit to Prague, or for the Patriarch of Venice, Mons. Francesco Moraglia, during The Navalis Saint John’s Celebrations.

Interpreting

I provide interpreting for Czech, English, German, and Italian – simultaneous and consecutive, on-site and online. I will ensure that your multilingual event runs smoothly.

Language Tutoring

I have many years of tutoring experience. I teach English, German, and Italian courses. The lessons (group or individual) can be online or in-person upon agreement.

Translations

I provide general and technical translations. You can contact me if you wish to have your Czech, English, German or Italian document translated.
